Before i had a baby i couldnt help wonder if all those people telling me ” just you wait” / ” you will never sleep again”/ ” you wont be able to do that any more” etc.. were right and i would have to give up my love for yoga, relaxation and meditation When i had a small person to care for Whose needs came above my own.
Happily, i have found that if i take care of my own wellbeing, pay attention to my breath, draw my focus inwards into my body instead of reacting to situations when they feel unsettled…magically, it has a positive effect on my children too.
I would like to share with you some lovely pics taken at one of my classes of Mums really relaxing with their babies. It makes me quite emotional when i see these.. If i have helped anyone to calm themselves and enjoy some moments of oneness with their baby, i am one happy teacher! (:(:
